The Claim at Storm-Split Tower
This digital artwork is available for perpetual commercial use.
Storm-Split Tower had stood broken for generations, but even in ruin it remained a place worth killing for. Whoever held its heights could watch the dead roads for miles, command the passes below, and deny safe passage to all who crossed the blasted stones.
So the claim was made as all true claims are made in the Dark World—without treaty, without mercy, and in full view of the fallen.
Upon the tower steps, the victor raised the sacred mask of the last pretender before the ancient masonry, sealing dominion in blood rather than oath. One witness was spared below to behold the act and carry its truth beyond the ruins. By dawn, the story would spread farther than any banner could fly.
