Not all horrors of Arsas march beneath banners. Beyond the war-roads and broken strongholds, there are things too ancient, or too wrong to be folded into the known orders of the world. Among these are the Gravewalkers: roaming sepulcher-things said to rise where burial fields have been disturbed by old violence.

The Hollow Veil specimen is feared even among such accounts. It does not hunt by speed, but by deliberate gait, while the dead soil softens in its wake. In the villages nearest the old crypt-gardens, doors are marked with ash sigils when the fog turns pale, for it is said a Gravewalker does not kill to feed; it comes to reclaim those who have lingered in life too long, and to carry them screaming into the stone dark behind its maw.
